Shafela Rafiq

Shafela’s journey began in Guyana, where she took her first steps into the professional world as a Customer Service Representative for a Global Financial Services Provider immediately after finishing high school. Being the eldest among her siblings, she naturally embraced a leadership role early in life, contributing to the care of her sisters and providing support to her family. This ingrained sense of responsibility has been a constant driving force throughout her life.

Upon relocating to the United States, she carried that same unwavering determination with her. Her American career commenced at a prominent construction company in New York City, where she served as an Administrative Representative. Her inherent potential quickly became apparent. A strong work ethic coupled with an insatiable curiosity propelled her to seek out new challenges, leading to a transition into the plumbing department. Through dedication and perseverance, she steadily advanced to the position of Operations Manager.

Today, Shafela has established a reputation for her exceptional ability to execute tasks efficiently and effectively. Whether it involves the coordination of urgent service calls, the management of diverse teams, or the skillful navigation of intricate projects, she approaches every endeavor with purpose and maintains composure even in high-pressure situations, always prioritizing the people she works with. Shafela brings a strong understanding of numbers to the plumbing department. She manages billing, invoicing, and quoting with accuracy and attention to detail, while overseeing the financial side of operations to keep everything running efficiently and on track.

For Shafela, her work transcends the mere completion of daily tasks or the routine management of operations.
